"My wife and I stayed in the honeymoon suite for her birthday and before we arrived the team from the hotel contacted me to find out what they could do to make our stay more special. "Not an easy place to find, Hekpoort did not come up on our sat nav and it's quite a way from Magliesburg. Once there though it is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful, just you and the rising sun If my life's ambiton was to write a book this is where i'd come. Very good standard of hosting. Essentially self catering."

"The hotel is very modern. The room is very comfortable and the housekeeping staff does a great job with their cleaning. The Hotel has a shuttle service that takes you to Nelson Mandela Square with no charges and we have enjoyed a shuttle to the airport early morning with a charge, which is secure and convenient. Our only complaint was the food at the restaurant that is lousy; however, the cook came out to apologize for salty and over seasoned food. Overall, this is a great place to stay. The staff is really friendly and willing to accommodate you with any requests you may have."
