The room was fantastic. We loved it. The beds were so comfortable and the view was so beautiful. We used the onsen and it was magical because we had a full moon. The bath products they have for the guests and the onsen user are the best smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash i have ever used in my 51 years. Beautiful property with pool and garden. Staff was kind. Room was spacious and clean with private indoor and outdoor bath. Amazing stay overall. Highly recommend. We will be back again in the future.

Maybe the best hotel experience I've ever had. Room was amazing, with an onsen overlooking the sea. Shared onsens also available at the property were fantastic and provided a moonlit soak in a secluded grove. The staff was the picture of hospitality - warm, accommodating, and endlessly helpful. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Will be back for sure.

I have stayed in many luxury 5 star hotels, but this place get 10 stars, comfort and service beyond anything you can imagine. Big thank you to the owners for fantastic hospitality!

Excellent service. Not only was the stay memorable for us but the hotel staff exceeded expectations. When Uber blew it on a timed taxi hailing, they shuttled us up to the station to make our train - off schedule. Great service! The buffet is also awesome and rooms are so sweet! Views are excellent and the location is at the heart of the beachfront. Pretty great spot to experience Atami.

My only complaint is that I didn't stay there longer. The area and hotel are so calm and peaceful, and the beach views are unbelievable. Definitely recommend for those hoping to get off the beaten path. I'd recommend two nights so you get really get a chance to relax and take advantage of the baths, pool, and beach.

My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. Everything was top tier, would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a classic Japanese experience but with modern comforts and breathtaking views!!

A perfect location to end my Japan trip. Hotel is right on the beach. Every rooms are either face the ocean or Mountain View. And the room was very spacious.

Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! What a magical experience it was to enjoy the outdoors and soak. And last but not least the breakfast! Felt like my mom made me lunch for the day. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful property - absolutely breathtaking from the moment you arrive. The staff were super nice and helpful. David who works at the tea bar is also lovely. Amenities are great here and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We never wanted to leave. We got the forest room and it was so nice to wake up to. The public bath was also super clean and nice. Our skin felt great afterwards. Would highly recommend the dinner and breakfast there also. It was a big meal but so delicious.

I rode my Harley here from Saitama and loved this place. People r nice. Rooms big. Clean and on the beach.
