"The house was a very nice small FeWo with all the things you'd expect. Elena, Gianni and Anna Maria, where the kindest and most concerned hosts we ever met. The village around is also quite lively and not deserted if this is what you fear. We loved our stay in Annas holiday apartment a lot and would come back for sure if we visit Lago Maggiore again."

"We had a wonderful week in Castagnola. The apartment and place around it is very dog friendly (we loved the dog paintings!) and has a great atmosphere. The castle is beautiful. To get the most out of it, it is absolutely recommended to take the guided tour, the wine tasting and a meal from Gianna."
