I booked a lake-view room, thinking, "How bad could it be?" Pretty bad. I don't know if non-lakeview rooms could hear the noise. If not, I'd book here again. Even with the noise, I'd probably book here again because it really was such a great location. Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Also, knowing that I could enjoy the lake view...

"Overall room is as expected. Old facility kept clean. Room was hot. No air circulation. Asked staff at hotel what the rate was if I extended one extra night. He checked and said it would be the same rate. The next morning when I went to pay for the extra night the same guy changed the price to a higher one. I checked out right after breakfast because I didn’t want to support a dishonest business."

"This hotel has a great location and wonderful beds! It was a great find for our spring stay, with walkable distance of the lake, the city's downtown, many restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel allows you to bring food and heat it up on their microwave (the rooms do not have a kitchen). It also had a good buffet for breakfast, and free tea in the common area. We had a great time. Totally recommended."
