“I was literally surprised by the standard of the breakfast giving the amount of money I paid for (and this is in Norway!), the staff are friendly, also not really far from city centre with good transport connection”

“The place is run by enthusiasts, motivated by the architectural significance of the 60s hydro-electric project. If that rings your bell, go for it. If not, think twice. The food is good and honest, I enjoyed the local trout for dinner and hand smoked salmon for breakfast (you can tell it's the real deal because there's the odd bone in, a machine wouldn't miss that). Apart from the food, view, nature, history, architecture and some pool access I didn't use, there isn't much else. No disco, no 24……
