"This place is really bad value for money. There were clumps of dust in the bathroom, the fixtures hadn't been updated in decades. The breakfast was awful. Nobody manning the front desk. The Japanese tatami room and the onsen were OK but these were the only redeeming factors in an otherwise totally disappointing stay. I was expecting much, much more for the price we paid. If it was 50% cheaper, it would've been barely worth it."

"Our trip was fabulous. We highly recommend Haus St. Anton. I never write reviews but was compelled to after the wonderful service and treatment we received. When there weren’t any taxis available and we feared we would miss our train back to Tokyo, the owner, without hesitation, kindly offered to drive us and our 1-year-old to the station. It is not a short trip either! We can’t wait to return! The accommodations are cute and cozy and make for the perfect ski weekend. The little coffee shop...
