“As an operator of serviced accommodation in the UK, I understand the standards guests should reasonably expect from paid accommodation. Unfortunately, our experience at both the aparthotel and subsequently the Mercure Hotel fell significantly below those expectations.
On arrival at the aparthotel, we found the studio apartment to be extremely basic. The bed, advertised as a double, appeared to be a small double and was inadequate for two adults. There was clearly sufficient space in the room……
