"We were two couples looking to explore Germany and Luxembourg and this rental property in Irrel was a great location for all of our day trips. Our host Sandy was very helpful and communicative. Our lack of German made Translate a priority, and of course hand gestures! The home was very clean and so well appointed for guests. "A gem of a hotel right in the heart of the city. Given it is a literal stone’s throw from the central station you might expect the city noise to leech into the rooms but, remarkably, it doesn’t which allows you to be right in the middle of the action without loosing a wink of sleep. The included continental breakfast was also above expectations. In addition to the expected pastries, fruits and bread the hotel also offered cooked eggs, bacon and sausages with freshly squeezed orange juice as the cherry on top. If we were to return the only things we would do differently would be to a) stay longer and b) stick to the standard room. We upgraded to the junior suite this time but didn’t end up making much use of the lounge area."

"Great location and free water for duration of my stay. Only negative is the hotel policy to place a hold on your credit card for a damage deposit. First time in 30 years I have seen this. However didn’t detract from my stay and would recommend particularly if you are planning to use the train for visits elsewhere as perfect for this . Tram is also a five minute walk"
