“Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya...

“There was no running water on the property! We left after the first night, and they wouldn’t refund our money. On return, I had to can hotels.com to ask for refund, who said they couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the property. I did get a refund, but would not recommend or go back. ”

“The property was amazing, amenities and all, but it took me more than an hour to try and work out the expedia reservation and nothing was done at the end of the day to secure accommodation via my expedia reservation. Management was unable to process expedia bookings, therefore I had to pay cash to secure the reservation.”
