“Safe and clean property ”

“we had a great time for a week! Check-in was a breeze, everything was as described and we lucked out on good weather the whole time. This property is in a great location right on the beach and it iwas so great to be able to walk our dog on the beach. A great central location on the Outer Banks to explore. ”

“Our family had a great stay and plan on returning next year. Having a full condo with being right on the beach made our vacation so much more relaxing. Staff was friendly.”

“We enjoyed our long weekend away at Stella Maris. There was plenty of room for a party of 7 adults. Only suggestion would be very minor upkeep in cleanliness (dusty vents, broom in the kitchen but no dust pan, scraps of old food in the utensils drawer). Otherwise the home was cozy, centrally located, and had gorgeous oceanfront views. Thank you for opening your home to us! ”

“Very clean and friendly staff”

“We found a lot to love about Herbst Cottage! While the layout is a little unconventional (the huge master bedroom is the only direct route in and out of the house to the back decks and pool), the spaces were big enough for 10 people, and the places we were most interested in, which were the kitchen, backyard/pool, and beach access, were really great. Well equipped with the exception of broken dishwashers (both indoor and tiki bar were broken most of the week) and a leaking ice machine. Response……

“This house was great & had everything we needed for a vacation! We loved the hot tub & the covered front porch. The chairs on the back deck were really nice too. The weather was cool so we didn’t use the pool but we looked at it & it was good. There are beach chairs under the house which was perfect for us since we didn’t have extra room to pack ours. There’s a water hose on each end of the house as well to was your feet & in our case spray off the windows of our vehicles bc they got terribly……

“This was the cutest room. I was getting married and used this as our getting ready space and it was perfect. It also has the most romantic little outdoor bathroom.”
