Beautiful modern lodge with gracious hosts. The property has a lot of indoor and outdoor public areas to relax with a glass of wine and book in hand. Rebecca and Jason are attentive, anticipating their clients needs, and are at the ready to make great dining and sightseeing recommendations. The private cedar hot tubs room side are to die for. Highly recommended.

Everything about this motel is first-class. Our room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and loaded with amenities. The management was very welcoming and helpful in many ways. Highly recommended.

Dave and Shami are wonderful hosts at this bed and breakfast in a quiet neighborhood in the hills above Rotorua. Delicious breakfast too!

Our check-in felt a bit awkward—we were told many (many) times how the property and views are “quite stunning” as we were shown around. Everything else was very nice. Room had a great view, and we really liked the breakfast (and breakfast staff). Parking on the hill was tricky!

The property seemed very new. Clean, bright, comfortable with nice extras— a free pass to the fitness center just a few yards away, free laundry services. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we ordered a birthday breakfast for the room, the staff cam up singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with a piece of cake , candles and ice Cream. Ludi at the front desk was especially helpful. The food at the restaurant/room service was very very good.

The woman at the front desk (Sharon) was the nicest person I have ever spoken to in my life. I called the day before my check-in as I was planning to arrive later than when the front desk was open (they close at 9pm) and she was so pleasant and sweet on the phone. She gave me detailed instructions on how to get what I needed upon arrival to get into my room and where to park on the premises. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Also beautiful restaurant, fantastic when I paid for add-on breakfast - best breakfasts of whole NZ trip. They do not provide clean bed sheets daily fyi. The dinners were also fantastic and the view from the rooms was fantastic. Difficult if you have any sort of knee or ankle issue - lots of very steep uphill, lots of stairs. Great experience. Property is older than I expected but clean and we'll maintained. Staff helpful and courteous. No elevator so plan on hooking your bags up a flight of stairs if u are on 2nd level. Recommended.

This was a very quick stop on our way to the west coast. We got in late and were out early. What we saw was clean. We didn’t use the comfy looking robes. Just took showers and went to bed. In a cute little village. Great stop over.
