Our room stunk like pet odor or the room had been flooded at one time. It was so bad, we went and purchased room freshener spray to combat the smell. My husband had to fix the toilet to flush properly. Only received room cleaning service once during our 5 day stay and I had to request the service twice. This was not what I expected for a $792.76 stay, especially when one night was $199.20. I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again.
Pool and water park were closed and found out at check in. Was told it would be open second day and it was not. Sheets had stains and there were boogers wiped on the wall. Made the stay extremely terrible and very uncomfortable.
The slides were down, our room smelled liked animals(I did not book a pet friendly room, even though they tried to tell me I did), staff were rude! Very disappointing!
Rick was awesome. HOWEVER: There was no tea and no drinking water in the welcome area. There was no tea in the breakfast area. The breakfast was a hard stop at 9am ALL DAYS INCLUDING THE WEEKEND AND EVERYTHING was removed from the breakfast area by 9:08am. The food selection did not change at all from day to day. There was only a certain amount of muffins (which are advertised as pastries) and if you were not down there by about 6:30 there were rarely more than 3 (one variety) to choose from. The pool was much too cold to go into, the childrens' play section was closed off, and the hot tub was no longer on the property. The one working ice machine could not handle the morning rush and spent several hours empty. The workout room had one of three pieces of equipment working. There was NO WATER in the workout room and no towels either. Other than that, Rick was very polite and kind.
We walked in the hotel and it was so dirty and the gentlemen at the front desk was on the phone yelling at someone. Broken lights, broken windows. We ended up walking out and got another hotel

Arrived at 2:45 and was told couldn't check in til 3pm. Had to wait as did many other people. When went in to check in at 3, had a line of six different families checking in. Stood in line for 15 - 20 min.
The best part of this hotel was the wonderful lady that checked us in, and the room was pretty clean. However, we chose this hotel for the indoor waterslide and kid area. This was "under renovation" and not in use. It looks like it hasn't been in use for quite a while, however, this was not stated at the time of booking the room and we were not given the option to cancel. Also, the spa was not in commission. It actually took a moment to locate the spa because they literally put boards over it, screwed it down, and put a table and chairs on top of it. A "spa" should not be listed as one of their amenities. Additionally, breakfast ended really early, the laundry room was out of order, and the vending machine didn't work, and didn't have any water in it. We will not go back. But, again, the check-in lady on 6/19 was wonderful!
First time staying here, friendly front desk is my only positive for this location. Unfortunately our room had broken furniture, doors with holes in them, half the pool area was closed off, and no jacuzzi which would have been nice to relax in. We found it odd that the breakfast area had signs stating you aren’t allowed to bring food beyond the sitting area. We’re used to bringing food to our room at every other hotel we’ve stayed at.
Don't let the pictures fool you there is no spash area to play in and no slide. Just a pool nothing else. Rooms were dirty most every amenity was out of order.
Travelled here with my family, including toddlers and a senior citizen, looking for a safe, comfortable stopover. While the property itself was fine, the management is absolutely terrible. The hotel charged a $100 incidental deposit to my card at check-in. We checked out with zero issues, but instead of releasing the temporary hold, the hotel officially processed it as a final charge and took the money from my account.
When I called the hotel politely to ask about the unauthorized charge, the manager was incredibly rude and literally yelled at me over the phone. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior toward a paying guest. Check your bank statements closely if you stay here. I have filed a formal complaint with Choice Hotels corporate. Avoid this location until they get better management
Outside motion sensor to enter motel did not work at all, that is a serious safety issue in my opinion. The room and hallway smelled of smoke, cigarettes and or possibly some illegal substances. Outside was dirty and unkept. Totally not what the pictures displayed on Expedia. I am not sure if they have changed owners recently or what but 0 stars.
Convenient location easy to find and easy to access local points of interest
Pool good but the children’s play pool was closed
Fitness room adequate for size of accommodation
Breakfast good hot food fresh cooked
The only thing good I have to say about this hotel is the front desk lady was kind and helpful. The pool slides were not in use ( this was not mentioned in their website or on the phone when trying to book; that was different story, rudest person on the phone ever), the hotel hallways smelled of mold and air fresheners to cover it up, there was old salsa that had been spilled on the sides of one of the beds and floor and the beds were hard, tvs didn’t work…. Let’s just say DON’T STAY HERE!
I only stayed in this room for a nap from a long road trip out west. Didn’t get to use the pool or try the breakfast so I can’t review based on that. Although everything I’m about to say is poor, I’m willing to stay here when I drive through the area again.
First impressions of the room and hotel were poor. Rough parking lot in some areas with deep potholes and large ripped up parking area in the back. My room had gum on top of the closet shelf, football sized hole behind the bed frame, and dirt scuff marks along the wall. None of that bothered me as much as the non existent sleep I had here.
The curtains are placed nearly a foot from the window, leaving light coming in from the top, bottom, and sides. The curtains draped far enough to where it covered the AC unit (another hotel AC very inconveniently placed). After I DIY’d the curtains to blackout the room, the thin walls were my next issue. I hear every conversation and TV show next door and members in the pool from multiple rooms away.
I think I’m giving the place too hard of a time due to circumstances, but it does suck that I couldn’t even sleep. The location is very convenient and near food and gas options. Will give it a second chance when possible but could definitely use some layout changes.
I was headed to town and got a terrible phone call saying I had to rush back home. As I’m headed back home I’m trying to cancel my room on the app and was uncle to die to the 24 hr policy (which I understand) so I try to call the hotel but my service was horrible and couldn’t make the call. So I decided to call the next day when I handled my family emergency. Long story short they ended up charging me instead of waiving the fee for missing reservation. It’s much more I can include. The GM IS rude and treats customers horrible.
Second time we stayed here and very disappointed. Something in the pool is always broken. 1st time hot tube wasn’t working now it’s not there at all. This time we stayed kids play area was shut down.
Lady running breakfast every morning was extremely loud talking on her personal phone in the kitchen and breakfast area. Did not make breakfast to enjoyable
Hole in wall of room we stayed in as well
There was nothing I liked about it. Was in the room for 10 minutes and immediately checked out. Called the manager the next day and he was nice enough to charge me for one day even though I only stayed for 10 minutes. I would avoid this Comfort Inn at all cost. If necessary, sleep in your car.
It’s under construction on parts of it but it had great breakfast close to stores. Great property hope the slide gets finished that was the big draw for our visit.
