We decided to try to go on a whale watching tour and booked it down towards Bear Island. Guess we needed reservations, but it was still a beautiful drive!

After leaving Digby, NS, driving 40 minutes, surviving the sharp turns, and taking two ferries you will discover Brier Island. This island is small, but packed with great hiking and rock jumping. Not many tourists or Nova Soctians make their way out to the island, and that's a shame because it is worth the trip.
