Where to stay

in Disney's Boardwalk

Come to this boardwalk day or night for entertainment, a boat ride or just a walk around the lake. There are plenty of activities to do and things to eat.

While at Florida’s Disney World, make plans to visit Disney’s BoardWalk. It’s conveniently located between Epcot Center and Hollywood Studios so it makes a great stopping point or a base for discovering other attractions. Explore the wide boardwalk to go shopping, be entertained or just enjoy all the activity.

Daytime might include riding a boat on the lake or renting a bicycle to get around. Shopping options are plentiful, from a well-stocked general store to clothing stores for all ages and toys featuring Disney characters.

Eating establishments pepper the boardwalk with menus featuring seafood, Italian cuisine, bakery items, ice cream and crafted beers, while many restaurants offer themed décors.

Stay for the night when the boardwalk takes on another identity, with buskers, music performers, artists and dancing on a massive dance floor.

With Epcot Center only 0.5 mile (0.8 kilometer) away and Hollywood Studios 1 mile (1.6 kilometers), it makes sense to stay at Boardwalk Inn and Villas. Ride the Disney Skyliner connecting the area to other points. Hop on a boat, if you prefer, to various locations or return to your lodging that way. If your plane arrives late in the day, take the complimentary Disney’s Magical Express that will transport you from the airport.

Disney’s BoardWalk is unique in that it reminds people of other places from a bygone time. Some say it’s like parts of the New York and New Jersey shores in the early 1900s. The variety of building designs helps create that beach town feeling. Participate as much as you want at this attraction that Disney calls The Showplace of the Shore. There’s even an art gallery on the boardwalk that fittingly sells pieces highlighting coastal scenes and related subject matter.

Locate Disney’s BoardWalk along walkways from Epcot Center and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Drivers should look for Epcot Resorts and Disney’s Hollywood Studios signs.
