"The cabin is very nice, but the positives stop there. I showed up and someone else was in the cabin I had booked. It took an hour to get in touch with the property manager while I sat in my car and he told me to go to a different cabin; I started feeling better about things. However, a stranger came in at 9am in the morning without knocking and woke me up - I have no idea why, and frankly that’s just unsafe. I really wanted to like this place, the cabins are well done, but for the price...

"Overall we had a great stay! I would give a few suggestions, such as fans in the living area, even with the A/C set low it was stuffy and warm. In the bedrooms, the fan would not run unless the lights were on, again it got hot at night. The lock on the back door was broken, so we could not access the back yard patio. Overall very cute and perfect for our needs!"

"We were in town for a wedding in nearby Celeste, TX. This was a convenient location for us. The house is great! It’s newly remodeled and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower in the primary suite is amazing! The town of Leonard itself doesn’t have much to offer. Plan on bringing food to cook or driving a ways to eat at a restaurant. Overall, though, it was a pleasant experience!"

We could not get the host to respond to our messages and we had no check in instructions until we called VBRO HQ at 5 pm the actual day of check in. The bottom knob on the front door was still locked when we arrived and we had to call again for a key. The back yard was nothing but a bare muddy pit. There were no extra paper towels and no tissues and...

"We stayed here while visiting family in Bells. The home is wonderful and has many welcoming touches like farm fresh eggs! Everything was spotless and comfortable and made for an easy visit. "The cabins are so great! Good use of space. The retro vibes were so cute. The only picky suggestions I would have is get ahead of the wasp issue. Which almost any cabins problem.
