"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."

"An attractive hotel in a completely unspoilt part of rural France. Our room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the church. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom looked newly refurbished and everything worked very well. Staff were very friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were very good, local French food, well cooked, nicely presented."

Petit déjeuner copieux (y compris jus d'orange fraichement pressé, oeufs à cuire selon goût (à la coque, mollet, dur); chambre correct, même si tout seul je n'avais pas besoin de trois lits; dîner bon, mais n'avais rien de médiéval. Equipement dans la SdB: un peu spartiate: pas de tapis de SdB, pas de savon (shampooing juste dans la douche)"

"The breakfast was great, the staff was nice and the room clean. However, it smelt bad in the room throughout my stay; I'm quite sure that it's not due to hygiene but more to sewage lift but still, not pleasant. Maybe put some home perfume?"
