![It takes 1,000 butterflies to weigh one pound (.45kg), and the branches on this tree were sagging under the weight.

The monarch colony here was quite different than at the more popular El Rosario sanctuary. 40 minutes outside Zitacuaro, near El Capulin, we chartered a couple of tiny mountain horses to take us up the rugged path to view the colony. The monarchs were clustered within a ravine, swirling around a few choice pine trees in search of sunny roosts. “Está hermosa, divina, tal cual las fotos. Las personas que te reciben, la que te ayuda con el desayuno, todos en general son muy amables. El único “PERO” es que Expedía no hace el cargo a tu Tarjeta, debes de llegar y pagar directo ahí en el lugar y si pagas con TC te cargan el 4% adicional de comisión. Para que lo consideren. Como “PLUS” nos dieron madera para la fogata, pudimos asar carne en el asador, nos hicieron favor de comprarnos un pastel para nuestro festejo, TODO muy hermoso. Gracias!……

“La propiedad superó mis expectativas con un diseño que otorga un amplio espacio, comodidad y buen gusto tanto en las recámaras, baños, sala, cocina y comedor. La visite con mi esposa, mis 3 hijos sus parejas y mis 5 nietos. Lo que más disfrutaron los nietos fue el jacuzzi. Su vista hacia el lago también es muy buena. La casa en general es muy amplia y ayuda a generar un gran ambiente familiar. La verdad se las recomiendo tanto para un fin de semana o varias semanas. Tiene cerca autoservicios……
