“Nice host but could do with updating and a thorough clean. We were only given one bath towel and one hand towel to share between two! Breakfast items weren’t great quality and it all felt rushed. Weren’t offered and extra tea or juice etc. Overall wished I’d booked somewhere else.”

“The room was nicely appointed but uncomfortably warm due to time of year. A fan was provided but only gives little help and was noisy. Lighter TOG bedding would be helpful in the summer months. Food in the evening was nice but the menu could be a little more expansive when guests are staying several nights. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. The lack of onsite parking is a minor drawback but as charges are relatively cheap in the nearby public car park this is not a serious issue. The staff……

“Good location. The spacious and modern apartments are situated right in the center. Excellent beds. Mini fridge. Parking is available right outside. A good base for exploring the south of County Donegal. The town itself is small and lively.”

“It was first class all the way! We were greeted by Shea, the professional concierge. He was fabulous and very informative. We had the superior deluxe room with a bay window. It was very large and beautiful. The bathroom was just as nice and big. The entire staff was wonderful.”

“The Good:
The main hotel at Harvey’s Point, as well as its restaurant and bar, were fantastic. The hospitality and atmosphere in the main property were very high quality, setting a wonderful standard.
The Bad (The Lodge Experience):
Unfortunately, The Lodge feels like the neglected stepchild of the property. While it has immense potential to be an amazing stay, it severely lacks basic cleanliness and attention to detail compared to the main hotel.
