"hotel lacks amenities one would expect at this price. staff was great. Skagway itself is extremely crowded with tourists being herded around like zombies and extremely noisy with constant Disneyesque trains sounding whistles and ships blaring horns as well as landslide repairs being conducted at all hours. History of Skagway is lost amid all the shops hocking overpriced trinkets. The land was abused over a century ago due to the greed of prospectors and history is repeating itself "
