The location is pretty good, a block from St Stephens Green. The hotel is good but I think that the 5 star rating doesn’t do it any favors because it is not comparable to other 5 star properties in the city. It is a good hotel and that is it, nothing special about it. The breakfast is okay but the service is pretty bad. Lots of waiters trying to hard not to make eye contact so they cam avoid taking your order. Stuff we ordered just never arrived on a couple of occasions. The bar is very nice with good service. We didnt try restaurant for lunch or dinnee because there are many options available close by.

Overall very good stay at Conrad Dublin. The breakfast was really good, the staff were very helpful. But the room, especially the bathroom was very dated and tired, definitely needs an ungrade. It had old shower over the bath, flimsy door. Disappointing for the price and a five star hotel.

Rooms OK, not as luxurious as other Conrads; shower size absolutely unacceptable; extremely small, literally less than 1 square meter, maybe 8sqft; super uncomfortable, not suited for medium to large people and certainly not for elders..... way too small, on the other hand, they have a battub using valuable space in the bathroom. The shower size was really a bummer.
