Friendly and helpful staff at an excellent location for visiting the city. The hotel was clean, felt very safe and the small bar provided a quiet place to sip a beer and decompress after very busy days seeing the sights.

We were three 60 year old friends exploring Dublin on foot and public transportation during our 3 day/3 night stay at Handel’s Hotel. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations - the staff were so helpful and welcoming, the room was so clean and comfortable and the location is perfect! I would happily recommend Handel’s Hotel to anyone travelling to Dublin.

Great location and friendly staff except for one person. Marie at the reception is great. The cafe next door is great. We ate there and also had to-go (take away, carry out) of 2 cups of coffee and 2 croissants almost every day. There is also a great pub next door which had live music. The area is a historic site. There were a lot of guided tours.

Property is within walking distance to the Latin Quarter but not close enough that noise is an issue. Onsite parking is tight but they have a vehicle attendant to help out if parking location is going to be full. Breakfast was okay if you are going to get up and good early you will not have any other options in the area.

Hansel’s is a centrally located small hotel just off the Temple Bar Area. It has a clean modern drain in a well renovated historic building. There is a small bistro/ bar which looks good …. But we did not use. The beds are great, The shower is great and the staff are very friendly & helpful with suggestions and directions. Only comment is that there appears to be no air conditioning. We were absolutely fine as the window was easy to open.

Nice location. Pleasant accomodation. Hallway floors needed shampooing, which made me doubt the condition of the carpet in the room. A cold water faucet to use in filling water flasks was near the elevator on our (and possibly every) floor.

Modest is a good description for the room we had. Aside from fresh towels, one night of the four we spent there had minimal room attention. Also a cream rinse container had been tipped over on the tub edge, leaking onto and into the tub, which was still there the following evening. A older renovation and painting seems to have been done by feel, rather than visually. Basic room, nothing more.

Hotel location is nicely located; walking to attractions very easy. Our street-facing room provided bird’s eye view of the street’s happenings, and we quickly got accustomed to street noise and the bells of Christ Church. The very bustling pub next door is host to nightly live music and attracts many patrons, which adds to the din of the street.
