"One night stay...the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Front desk staff were very friendly. Nice large bathroom offset from the sleeping area. Did not take advantage of the free breakfast so can't speak to that. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved our time at the Cider House. Diane has retained its history with a beautiful and comfortable renovation. Bed was comfortable and cabin had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was nice so we could pack light. We sat on the porch in the mornings and evenings, which is mostly shaded, enjoying the view of the apple orchards and wildlife, deers and birds. A black bear did walk right by the cabin on our last morning. We were inside so it was a cool sighting to see one that close. We loved the town of Floyd. All the artisans’ work is incredible and the Red Rooster Cafe has great biscuits and cinnamon buns. We hiked Buffalo Mtn. And Rocky Knob. Both are moderate trails with great views of the Blue Ridge. We hope to return soon!"
