This property truly is a 5 star. It is clean and modern with all the required amenities as well as lots of detailed extras including welcome gifts and robes to be used during your stay. Chris was an absolutely amazing host with attention to detail and was always available to offer assistance and answer our questions. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. The location is amazing with quick access to the university and the walking path along the river as well as local shops and sights. You'll love your stay here!

Perfect place to stay in Durham!!!

Perfection!!! I wanted to move in! Great location to everything, all modern appliances and furniture, kind and generous hosts who left us milk and juice in the fridge, croissants and cookies, and a fantastic bottle of wine! And lots and lots of coffee/espresso pods!! A gorgeous walk-out balcony to the river and bridge view. This place is amazing!!! I will probably be renovating my kitchen now! Ha!!!

The ideal apartment to stay in Durham

Lovely apartment, very clean, good quality furniture and fittings, extremely well equipped. Weather was warm and sunny so we sat on the terrace looking over the river watching the rowers go by. Great to have a car park space in the secure car park underneath the apartment. Ideal location just a few minutes from the High Street and short walk to the Cathedral, castle and theatre etc. Cream tea and wine, milk and fruit juice, expresso coffees - thoughtful extras on arrival. Welcoming owners.

Exceptional apartment in ideal location

This is a beautiful apartment in the perfect location. It is elegantly furnished and everything was in perfect condition. Downstairs has a spacious hall with toilet off it. Into the comfortable lounge with dining area and well equipped modern kitchen in an L shape. Patio doors to a balcony overlooking the river. Going upstairs to the two spacious, beautifully furnished bedrooms gives a feel of being in a house rather than an apartment. There is a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. One of the bedrooms has a spacious en suite. There is a private parking garage underneath the building which was very convenient. The apartment is a few steps away from the old town centre. The very friendly owner was waiting for us at the agreed time and showed us around. Very highly recommended.
