"I wish I could write a negative review so that I can have this place all to myself. This is our second time coming to Mainley Cabin, once in October, and once in May and each time has been perfect. The owners, the manager, the house, the town. Everything is perfect about this place. Hoping to call Maine home someday."

"We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port."

"If you're looking for a peaceful, restful stay, this is for you. This secluded cabin overlooks the river, and is in a great location. It was originally booked for my husband and I, but at the last minute, my brother-in-law needed a place to stay and Kelly was able to accommodate us. She was excellent to work with, and always available to answer questions. We're hoping to go back in the summer. We loved it."

"Great cabin!! I could move here!! Recently remodeled! 2 bedrooms downstairs and one large bedroom with 2 beds upstairs. Extra outdoor cooking/dining area, with gas grill, blackstone and picnic table. Down the hill is a dock, bit of a steep climb, but great for fishing and swimming. Canoe and kayaks available. Friendly owners right next door and willing to accommodate guest however needed. Definitely will be staying here again when we all come up to visit family!!"

"Nice wood cabin, in a beautiful spot. There's was no wifi (it wasn't a surprise but it's rare and would be nice to add..) There was nothing to do with the TV because there was no cable to. Bed matress where confortable and it was nice to have 6 places for the kids. There was many spiderwebs and the cleaning could be better. "

Handle broke off of door fridge and wardrobe. Tiny bathroom counter even though the space is huge. Not a very efficient layout. This might work for some, but not for us."
