“Beautiful setting in Northern Maine. The check in was super easy. We arrived to a spotless cabin with windows and door open allowing refreshing, pine smelling air into the cabin. The setting couldn't be more beautiful with the cabin nestled in the trees with a river running through the back. Hearing the stream at night through the windows was super relaxing. “Since there was very little information on the listing, I thought I would clarify that this is a very rustic accommodation, more like camping than anything else. The cabin was very open to the elements, always filled with bugs (wasps, beetles, fishing spiders, etc.), and you should expect to be woken up at 4 by the rooster and other farm animals. The bed itself was cozy and the shed was charming in many ways. If this all is what you are expecting, you might have a great time. For people like us...

“I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though”
