“We had a wonderful 4 night stay at The Gables. Room was fabulous and host Angus so friendly and welcoming. Such a quiet property and bed so comfortable and warm. Bathroom facilities excellent. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and nothing was too much for Angus. Thank you we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and staying at The Gables. Mike and Wendy”

“Clean and warm.
Bed comfortable.
Easy to access the accommodation.
Room and bedding etc clean.
Appreciated the decent size fridge.
A good base to explore the area.
NB we were glad to have taken advice from previous reviews and taken toiletries, as dispensers were empty, also took loo roll , own mugs and cutlery.
A few minor repairs needed but it is end of holiday season and we had a good last minute price so we were happy with the accommodation.”
