Hope for Scotland
"Scotland were playing Germany
My missus is Scottish likes football and likes a drink
Nicest evening i had(by myself)"
"The hotel though old had a certain charm and we were made to feel welcome during our stay. The room was cozy but plenty of storage. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well during the stay especially as I'm a fussy sleeper. Breakfast was good with both continental and cooked on offer. Dinner was equalling good, I can throughly recommend the burger. All staff were extremely polite, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Chris (restaurant manager) who looked after us at meal times. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you"

"Lovely hotel will definitely visit again if I had to pick something I didn’t like it would be all the shouting from people outside from other hotels so nothing they could do about that "
"The staff at this hotel could not have done more for us. We were thrilled with our room and the facilities available. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!"
"The hotel was extremely confortable, and staff extremely friendly. It's a small hotel, so the team remember who you are which was quite nice! Breakfast was tasty, and the dining room was lovely. Lift old fashioned but that was lart of the charm. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We had a great stay in the hotel (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 nights). Our room was bright and clean, and surprisingly spacious. Upon arrival, we noted that we were expecting an extra bed in our room; one was promptly sent up and made up. Breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is 3-stars for a reason: it hasn't been refurbished in a long time, so if you're looking for examples of cutting edge design, you might try somewhere else (probably outside of Eastbourne?). But The Lansdowne is very well looked after by the staff, and this gives the hotel a lovely nostalgic feel. Whenever we're headed to Eastbourne again we'll try to stay there first."
