“Great servers at restaurant and bar. Nice facilities (e.g. pool and lawn). Didn’t have a great experience with the room though as it was a room on the edge of the property just feet away from a busy road with lots of traffic. The blind in the bathroom was too short to cover the window which was a significant privacy issue due to window facing the toilet and the busy road outside window and constant stream of pedestrians. Room was also hot and opening windows due to proximity to the road,……

“The grounds are stunning with so much potential but it feels very much a work in progress. We used paddle boards on the lake, which was fab but an additional charge on top of a very expensive room. The sauna wasn’t quite up to heat, we stoked the wood burning hot tub for a dip, tried the lake to cool off and the cold plunge was unfortunately empty. The room was nice and clean. I booked the junior suite but ended up getting a suite. It didn’t feel any more special than a deluxe room elsewhere……
