“This hotel is a really convenient place to stay when visiting Eastbourne, the water pressure isn’t that great but it’s relatively clean and stuff are helpful. They were happy to provide us with bands as it was particularly hot.”

“Good choice for the price range. We booked a double room for one night in April for 41 GBP. The check in was smooth and reception staff was friendly. Bed was comfy and the hot shower after the 14 km seven sisters hike was a relief. Negative points: The room is a bit small (which we didn’t really mind as we only used it to sleep overnight). “There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat.
