Wife and I had a blast for a last minute quick getaway after some other plans fell through. Took a day trip to decorah and explored and gambled a bit at the casino near by. They have a website with other cabins might look to return again over the summer with my older college and high school kids as the cabin was huge for the two of us. "Attractive, comfortable cabin in the Driftless. Took our teen and dog, enjoyed fishing down the bluff, e-biking around the area, and a few great meals at Driftless Cafe and St. Francis Hermitage. Cabin was well-equipped with good wifi, plenty of kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, great shower (including a hair dryer, towels and soap/shampoo). There were a few dust bunnies but nothing problematic. Can't wait to come here when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the screened-in porch and firepit....

"Pictures don't do justice. This is a great location. Yellow River State Forest is amazing. Fun dive bar up the road in the small village. Fishing was tough with low water and high winds but looked very promising and will try some of these spots next time."

"My kids and I stayed at this cabin for a couple of nights. Overall it was a comfortable stay. If arriving in winter, take note that the downstairs can take a long time to warm up. There are extra quilts in each room and my kids bundled up and were comfortable enough to sleep. The view was fantastic and it was great to be eating breakfast while watching bald eagles and so many other different kinds of birds flitting in the trees.
