“The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We really liked the room decor, and everything was very comfortable. We attempted to use the bathroom hair dryer, but it instantly smelled like smoke when we turned it on - so we opted to not continue use. The main lock on our door wasn’t functional, but thankfully there was a chain lock we could latch. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would come here again.”

“Unfortunately after checking in, discovered a bed bug and contacted Expedia for refund as there was no way we were staying there. The front office was already closed and Expedia hasn’t been able to get ahold of the hotel to get my money refunded. It’s been almost a week and no update on status. “4 girlfriends stayed one night for a birthday celebration. House description was accurate. Host responded quickly. Very clean. Loved the extras that were provided, coffee, tea and some snacks. The massage chair was awesome! It was too cold to use the hot tub, but it was only 410 feet away from a cute Irish Bar which has good food and drinks.The house isn't in the prettiest of neighborhoods, but once you step inside this diamond in the rough, it was worth it.”

“I loved this hotel by the Mississippi River. Room was a delight, chose bluff side. Some complain about train noise, only heard one during stay. “The check in was strange. It’s “no contact” so there is no staff on sight. We arrived at 7pm and the place was completely deserted, which was unnerving. We got into our room with a code for the door. The room was clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the bathroom is small but, the view was pretty and being the only ones at the hotel, we sat outside and played our guitars under the stars and enjoyed ourselves very much.”
