Hotel was nice…My only complaint was you can hear whomever was outside of your door or near your room…Other than that the stay was good.

4/10 Poor

Liked: Staff & service
The most important thing when traveling is getting a good night sleep. With that being said, the mattress was very uncomfortable - like sleeping on a rock. And the pillows looked fluffy & full until you lay your head down. I hated the wash basin was not in the bathroom- which meant you touch the door knob after you use the bathroom but before you can wash your hands. We arrived late, in the morning we opened the curtains to see our view of the outside hvac system and other residents windows. The outside HVAC area was filthy. Like most indoor pools it was small, the breakfast was average, the room appeared clean and staff were great. The room was over $300 a night in a town most people never heard of & just off a busy thoroughfare It should have been much nicer.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room was good sized, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given it was on the Route 50 end of the building. I took a star off because of the breakfast. I am pretty easy to please for breakfast. The eggs at the Holiday Inn Express were really awful. The pool looked inviting but by the time I checked in, it was too late to use it.

The room was better than I expected. Breakfast was a full hot meal. Pancakes, bacon, omelet, cinnamon buns, fruit and yogurt. This is way better than other places we've stayed in the area.
