“Tried to charge me for a room I already paid for. Then tried to charge me a $20 pet fee when the Hotels.Com site specifically said $10. Room was FILTHY, baseboards hadn't been cleaned in years. Stains and scuffs all over walls. Left me one tiny bar of soap that was literally smashed in the package into crumbs. Water was barely above room temp and took a good 5 minutes to warm at all. “We had a wonderful stay. Owner/innkeeper was a delight. The family did an amazing job with the restoration of the place. Bed and Breakfast and was outstanding. We will definitely book again when we are visiting that area. Glad we decided to book there instead of the hotels in Halifax or the nearby towns.”

“When we arrived, the keypad wouldn’t work but fortunately the front door was unlocked. The host returned our phone call eventually, but cell service is very poor in that area. Overall, the stay was excellent. You do have to haul off your own trash, which is a little frustrating considering we also paid a cleaning fee, but the dump is close by. The house is super spacious and the windows in the living room are BEAUTIFUL! Great view and amazing sunsets! We loved the house!”

“The inside of the house was great, we enjoyed the layout of each floor and the rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the living spaces felt like home. The bedrooms had ample storage & closet space and the bathrooms were nice. The outside of the house was disappointing. It desperately needed cleaning, there were cobwebs and bugs' nests everywhere.
