"I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway for his birthday. Jeanette and Dennis were amazing hosts. There is designated parking. Check in was a breeze. The view of the lake is beautiful. We spent our first evening in the dock and watched the sun set. When we returned to our accommodations, we had a chilled bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us. On Saturday, we spent the day on the lake in a water hammock. There was an afternoon storm, but we’re able to stay down at the lake and enjoy it at the boat house. Early evening, Jeanette took us on a boat ride and stopped off at a campground to get some ice cream. It was a perfect weekend."

"We couldn't have asked for more for our extended family gettogether this summer. The house had plenty of bedrooms for our group of adults and young adults. The game room had lots of options for activities when it was rainy or too hot to be outside. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans and there was more than enough room for everyone to be able to eat together. Also, the family enjoyed having easy access to the lake which allowed lots of water-related activities. The property managers were always very responsive and helpful, before, during, and after our week. And we particularly appreciated Kacie and Kendall's assistance with the pontoon we rented."

"My family of 4, plus our dog, just had the pleasure of spending the past 3 nights at Sunrise Cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was homemade cinnamon rolls in the freezer with instructions on how to reheat them, which was such a thoughtful and delicious treat. We spent time on the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe and enjoyed the amazing view. Our dog even made friends with the local dogs, who are very sweet, once they get their barks out lol. We would absolutely love to return sometime."

"Overall the property was big enough for all the family. The property dies need a good deep clean there was lots of cob webs in windows looking over lake. One bedroom downstairs had exposed pipes so no one waned to sleep there. Cleaners crew was there for about 30 minutes past the time to check in. Think worth the money if the upgraded bedroom and did a deep clean inside and out. We did have a wonderful stay and the view is gorgeous."

"The house was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of space for our group of 18! There was so much to do just on the property. Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators (3rd in guest house), 2 washer/dryers (3rd in guest house), and other things made the house run more smoothly throughout the week with such a large group. Thank you to the owner for providing the perfect property to make memories!"

"Overall, it's a very nice place for relaxing. Unfortunately the water was extremely low but that's no fault of the host. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would recommend putting in a stairway to the grilling area, the slope is for people younger than us. Very nice place and clean, we wiped everything down before we left so it should be left as clean as we got it. We will probably rent it again."
