“We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are……

“The location was very nice. Maintenance of facilities was poor. Exterior wooden surfaces needed repair and the repairs attempted were not well done. The stairs from the lobby to the pool level were steep with tred width well below Canadian building code standards the last 35 years or more. Steps between various levels on the pool level lacked any indication of the offset, not in compliance with current safety standards. In our room, 8 out of 14 lights were either burnt out or Mon functional.”

“An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready……

“We had a great stay here. The best part was definitely the location, the beach is incredibly close and easy to access, which made it perfect for a relaxing weekend. The space itself is unique and worked well for our short stay. Communication was smooth and check-in was straightforward. Overall, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the opportunity to stay.”

“The house has a good amount of space and was great for us two families. There are a few things that are tired in the house or need repairs. The kitchen is big and easy to use for two families, however; it could use more supplies like a cheese grater, extra garbage bags, broom and some spices. The ocean view is small and far so dont get too excited, but just down the road is a little beach you can walk on. The beds are very comfortable and the house is quiet. I would stay here again.”
