"The area is great but the property is a little tired. It is advertised as having the basics for the amount of people the property can accomodate (6) but only had barely enough for 3 people, the floors feel spongy in places and the cooking facility's (toaster oven and electric 2burner plate we're old and didn't work very well. Luckily it we were only 3 in our party so it didn't affect us too much. It wouldn't take much to bring the property up to a higher standard with new appliances etc."

"It’s a simple shack cabin, but it’s cute and has everything you need for two adults. If you are very particular or you aren’t used to actual cabins (not perfect brand new immaculate places) this may not be your spot. If you love a little cabin with character and privacy at a good price, you’ll like this. The private dock on a lake is wonderful. The little boats were fun. Overall for the price great value in this area of BC."

"This is an excellent spot for anyone needing some rest and relaxation. A great spot with lots of privacy and great views. The hosts were excellent and the stay couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend for couples!"

"The location was great, the staff at the resort was great! Didn’t like that there’s no parking spot for your car when you wait for the boat to pick you up to take you to the resort. The owner tells you to park on the street where you risk being towed. Didn’t like how we were charged for extra people when we were renting the cabin that fits 10 people!! They’re we’re only 8 of us. She chargers for extra adults if there’s more than 4 adults. You have to pay for a boat taxi to get to the resort. I...

"I highly recommend this location if you are planning a trip to the Sunshine Coast. It was an hour drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal but once you are there, every place you might want to visit is a 30-40 minute drive from Madiera Park. The suite was very comfortable with a nice deck to relax on with a fantastic ocean view. Bed was very comfortable. Please be aware there is no full kitchenette for use in the suite. There is a small fridge, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and a larger toaster...
