Great stay

Very nice place to stay! Breakfast served until 10:30am and check-out is noon! Very nice room with kitchenette. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay!

I’ve stayed at La Estrella before and had a great experience. This time there were a couple of things that needed attention. The bathroom sink was NOT draining properly, and it seemed to have been in that state for a little while. Also the toilet developed a leak along the floor on the second day of our stay. Unfortunately we were really busy during this visit and didn’t have time to alert staff to the situation earlier in our stay. On check out day, I requested a 1 hour delay because my flight home was late in the afternoon. I was told any late check out was a ‘standard’ $25 extra fee. I am a senior, have a AAA, AARP, and USAA because I’m a veteran and my son is currently serving. The manager ultimately waived the fee, but let me know the fee is standard. Obviously this fee is totally at the facility’s discretion. I was just surprised and disappointed. In the end, I recommend La Estrella because the facility is beautiful with great amenities and helpful staff. I just had an experience that was a bit of a miss. Hopefully it’s a one-off.
