"This unit was very small and the area around it was busy and noisy. The pictures show a two storey unit but don’t mention that you get only the upstairs. The building itself was in dire need of repairs and maintenance and the area around it was littered with garbage and dirty water which attracted all sorts of bugs. "Remote and quiet place away from the maddening crowds and noise. Great for relaxing and snorkeling. The water is warm, clear and very safe to swim in. "Large comfortable home in the Big Creek area set in a lush tropical setting which is minutes walk to the beach. Enjoyed the serenity of the setting and was a short taxi ride to town. We saw a family of howler monkeys come close to the property daily which was a real treat.Lea was a great host and got us in contact with a reliable taxi service that used during our stay."

"I have never stayed in a place like this - it was so unique! Walking along the pier to the cabin is a treat. Lots of unique fish and colorful plants. And it is even better at night. We saw sea stars, neons, angel fish, barracuda, and a lot more. The cabin itself is both rustic and comfortable, which is hard to do. The two balconies offer amazing views of the bay. You can easily walk to a couple of places on the isthmus. It's about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Bocas town, or an easy cab ride that should cost about $1 per person.The staff were extremely nice. We enjoyed this very much."

"Unforgettable Stay with Air Conditioning ComfortAbsolutely incredible stay! The bungalow is stunning, right over the water with gorgeous views in every direction. Inside it had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, washer/dryer, fast WiFi, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the tropical heat. The private deck with hot tub and steps straight into the ocean made it feel like our own little paradise. The host was super helpful, even setting up our airport pickup and water taxi, which made everything easy. Could not recommend this place more, we can’t wait to come back!"

"Stayed recently for 4 nights. A beautiful property the street from a pretty beach and just down the street from a more usable beach to spend time on. The managers, Steve and Karen, are lovely people that we really enjoyed talking with, very attentive to our needs and helped us out with getting payment to a restaurant when we didn't have cash, but had planned on paying by card. I LOVED the A/C and it would cool down the room fairly quickly, which was great. Bed was comfy, the bathroom nice, everything was quaint and clean. Breakfast was DELICIOUS!! Dama prepared (as well as Karen) made delicious omelettes, sausage dishes, coconut bread, home-made jams (SO yummy!). Only suggestions are: (this one is TOUGH, I know) an elevator (Steve brought up my bag-so kind). Some info. about arrival, as we sat in our taxi at the gate for quite awhile, trying to call and get a hold of someone to let us in. Had my son jump the short gate (didn't know it was unlocked). Met Steve, he said all taxi drivers know to just come in, ours didn't. I was disappointed to find out that we couldn't flush our TP down the toilet. I this to be common in Latin America, but with charge for nice B&B, seems an investment could be made in plumbing, but maybe it just doesn't work in Bocas del Toro. Otherwise FANTASTIC place to stay. Nice and quiet -peaceful. Power went out for 25 min. one night, but came on quickly. Steve and Karen are great! "

"A fun and peaceful place to stay, away from the large crowds. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the main town or borrow bikes to ride from the owners. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and you can easily arrange for taxi boats to pick you up right from here to head out on your next adventure."

"Firstly, thanks to Rebecca for her communication and quick responses. This unit on the water was perfect for our stay in Bocas Del toro. It was close to groceries as well as restaurants so we had everything we needed. My only issue was that the chef knife was very dull and had challenges cutting up our tuna we caught. Would highly recommend staying there. "
