"We stayed in the cabin like "Studio" room that had a kitchenett cooking area. It was very clean, had a large TV, and the bed was very comfortable."

There is pretty much everything you need to enjoy your vacation and make it comfortable. There is a little lean to with wood for the fire pit. There is a nice dock with a boat lift, which is very convienent. The use of the boat house was a great feature to keep the water toys and fishing gear in. The beach is nice and sandy and the water is super clear. The kids loved swimming and fishing from the dock. Star lake is a very nice lake with lots of great fishing. We can’t wait to come back again. "

"This place was a pleasant surprise with the low price. I was there on a hot day after an outdoor family event and the room was nice and cool with a kick ass air conditioner running. Clean, comfortable bed with a hide-a-bed couch for an extra person. If you're on a budget, this is a nice place with a more than fair price. "

"What a wonderful experience staying in as well appointed and gorgeous home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there as a large group. There was enough room for all of us to comfortably sleep and socialize within the house. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials beyond the normal rental. The location was so convenient for us. Waking up and seeing the beautiful lake, trees as well as landscaping -all around us was a real treat. Highly recommended!"

"We benefited from some of the nice redecorating underway in this older hotel. Our host was pleasant and very helpful in carrying some of our gear down to our room, new carpeting in the hallway was nice and colorful, the beds and pillows were excellent, and the room very clean. We also liked the new floor covering in the room."
