"We booked this hotel for about $50 less than other hotels with similar review scores in the area. It’s a renovated super8 style hotel- very basic but our room was clean (even the corners of the bathroom), beds were comfortable and owner/operator at the front desk was friendly. The hotel hallways had a damp but not mildewy-smell, but the room was fine.
Breakfast area had cereal and waffle machine.
Would stay again for an overnight stop on a road trip.

"This is the 4th time we have stayed here and we will keep coming back… it’s perfect! The cabin is beautiful and comfortable for our party of 4 adults and 5 kids! The location is excellent: The public beach, Corner Store, Beach Bums and Zorbaz all are right there, as well as the convenience of Barkey’s Resort for renting a pontoon. From the kitchen to on-site laundry to the fire pit and spacious yard/deck we had everything we needed to spread out and chill out. Thanks for another great stay! We’ll see you next time!"
"We had a nice relaxing week at the Evergreen. We had multiple families stay and it by far exceeded our expectations! The house was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. The communication with Charles the owner was great as well. Highly recommend for a getaway!"
