It said no smoking but smelt like weed

Stay was great. The entire staff were incredibly friendly. The room was clean. It is a historic building so the rooms are small but we didn’t mind it at all. Location was perfect for our event. Lots of places to eat near by.

I like that is close to subway

It's not bad here, but definitely won't come back because of one thing: I got a frightening email the day I had to check in claiming my card on file was invalid and that my reservation was going to be cancelled within an hour. I was literally at LAX on shuttles, then a cab trying to get over to this hotel. I responded with multiple messages, called the hotel dozens of times and nobody responded. My card was never invalid. I checked in at the hotel just fine. It was like the message never happened, but the hotel definitely wrote that in a message sent through Expedia. They need to get better at answering their phone. Guests might think this place is a scam, even though it's not. It's a decent place to stay if you're not picky. But it's got the same problems as any motel - loud area, screaming kids, etc. I don't personally care, but I know other people will make a bigger deal of that. My only complaint is the hotel's failure to answer their phone and communicate better with guests if they threaten to cancel a reservation and not even help the guest figure it out.
