Known for its expansive sandy beaches on the ocean side and gentle shores leading to the sound, “The Point” offers the perfect backdrop for long walks through untouched nature and breathtaking sunsets (check it out on Google Earth). This home is just a stone’s throw away from the beach, with only oceanfront properties being closer. This spacious house features 3 bedrooms plus a bonus room with double bunk beds, comfortably accommodating 8-10 guests. There’s also a pullout sofa in the living room for extra sleeping space. Relax on the large covered porch with rockers, where you can enjoy views of the ocean. Filled with natural light, the home boasts an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, making it easy to access the kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, bonus room, and bathrooms—all on one level. The newly updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, soft-close cabinets, and an island with seating, along with a dining table that seats 8. Entertainment is easy with 5 flat-screen ROKU SMART TVs (in the living room, each bedroom, and the bonus room) and cable and Wi-Fi throughout. Additional conveniences include a washer and dryer on the main floor and a well-stocked kitchen complete with a dishwasher, microwave, French door refrigerator, Keurig, and traditional coffee maker. Enjoy the outdoors with an enclosed outdoor shower and a charcoal grill. Linens (bedding, bath towels, kitchen towels) provided. Starting 2025- beds will be made upon arrival. Directly across from beach access, it was a 3 minute walk to the beach which meant the kids could run back and forth from the house if they needed anything. - Front porch rockers were the family favorite. There is not an ocean view but you can hear the ocean and feel the breeze. We spent more time on the porch than in the house. - Though we didn’t use them, there are Roku tv’s in each bedroom and one in the living room. - Close to the beach and close to everything else in Emerald Isle. It was really a great location. -Bed linens and towels were provided (each enclosed in plastic wrapping). You made your own bed but at least you knew they were clean. -Keyless entry made it a breeze to check-in and check-out. -Email communication from property management group was thorough so no need to reach out for anything. -Microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, and traditional coffee pot were available for use. Growth Opportunities: - Time to update a few items in the home. The couch’s are light colored and show wear easily, it’s definitely time for a deep clean. The living area rug is unraveling and is a bit of a trip hazard. The bath mats are also showing excessive wear and need to be replaced. Consider changing shower curtain hooks to plastic? The metal hooks and rod are rusted so my kids had difficulty with closing/opening the shower curtain. - Not a big deal, but couldn’t find an iron.
