"The room was very modern, clean and stylish, with some really nice features. The large TV, comfortable queen-size bed, coffee machine and complimentary canned water were all great touches.
However, there were a few issues that made the stay less comfortable than it could have been.
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and really not fit for purpose. The mattress was extremely hard with very little padding, and the sheet provided simply slid off the leather surface, meaning you ended up sleeping directly on the leather cushion.
The ladder to the bunk bed was very steep and slippery, making it feel unsafe to climb, particularly at night.
In the bathroom, water escaped from underneath the shower door, so we had to put a towel down to stop it spreading across the floor.
The room could also benefit from more hooks for hanging coats, towels and other items, as well as a small fridge.
The phones were located in the lift areas, but there were very few of them. Although there were a few things we needed, it felt too late to go wandering around the corridors trying to find one.
It would also have been helpful to have some basic extras in the room, such as spare pillows, a sewing kit and other small essentials.
Overall, the room looked fantastic and was very clean and modern, but some practical improvements would make a big difference to the comfort and safety of the stay. The sofa bed and bunk ladder in particular need attention."
