“We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). “It was a bit of a distance from where we wanted to be, near the race start. Interesting location, the studio we rented was in a gated area/backyard of I'm assuming the owners home. Looked like there were a few rental options on the property. Clean and cozy studio and felt safe. Would recommend!”
