More fine taverns, supermarkets, numerous shops and ancient historical sites can be found in the nearby village of Epidaurus and its vicinity. Distance from Athens is about 150 km. For quality time vacation car is needed.
The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus hosts major drama performances every summer as a part of international Hellenic Festival.
