Total renovation in 2018; all new kitchen with stainless appliances, bath with oversized shower with seat & granite counter top, spacious living room with Serta convertible sofa, gracious bedroom with king sized bed & wall of closets, all new floor coverings and paint in 2018. Up-dated windows, Air and new furnace in 2018. Includes SECURE wifi, 2 smart TV's with antennas, 650 thread count sheets, pots & pans, dishes, glassware, cooking oil, salt & pepper, 2 spring waters, hotel size shampoo, soap & conditioner as well as hand soap & dish soap, paper towels, tissues & enough toilet paper, towels, 2 bag chairs, cooler, beach towels, 3 season room, porch with table & chairs. This Unit is a second story unit. It is clean fresh and well thought out. 1 mile from Smith Park & boat launch (very nice waterfront picnic area), 3.5 miles from downtown Bay City with family owned restaurants, shops, bars, The City Market and concerts in the park. 13 minutes from Bay City State Park & Beach, 1 1/2 miles from the Saginaw Bay Yacht Club, Consumers Energy Karn plant & Coast Guard Station.

Quiet comfortable great value
Property is very neat and clean. Owner pre-checked le in early and everything works and was very clean. Owners are friendly and very responsive to any requests and communicated within hours both times I extended my stay. The location is close to downtown but just outside in a peaceful quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this accomodation!

Two Week getaway
The property is in a nice quiet area just outside of the downtown area. Cindy provides everything you could need during your stay and doesn't leave a large check out list like some properties. She gave us some great ideas before the trip and she also provides local brochures as well as non-fiction books about the area. She is very kind and will give you as much or as little interaction as you prefer. I chose to text my questions but you can call her directly as well. The neighborhood is safe and on site parking is free. Thanks for a great visit to Bay City Cindy!

Clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We were in town due to a death in the family and Cindy was so helpful. She had the living room sofa made up as a bed for our son before we arrived and was available for any questions we had. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Great Location
My wife and I had not been to the east coast of Michigan and decided to take a vacation to this area. Bay City was near the middle of the area we wanted to explore. This property was only about 10 minutes outside of Bay city and exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Cindy greeted us upon arrival. She was very friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. During our first full day here we ventured to Midland, Au Gres, and Tawas. Tawas being the furthest point away, it was only a couple hour drive from this property. The following day we went to the thumb area and visited Caseville and Port Austin. These were only around an hour away. This property is in an ideal location for making day trips to other nearby areas.

The perfect place for the beach or downtown.
We loved our stay at in this place. The owners live on the property and were the nicest hosts. We used the apartment for our base camp while we hung out with family at the state park and beach. It's located about 15 minutes from the beach (and downtown) and allowed us to meet up with the families that love camping, without us having to camp. Lol The place was perfect for my wife and I. Fully stocked with anything you could need, very up-to-date, clean and very cute. It was 91 degrees when we were in Bay City and I was worried about how comfortable this place would be because it just has a window unit A/C and I like our house cool. First, the owner messaged us to find out what time we would arrive and had the A/C on and the place cool when we arrived. Second, we slept in the living room with the a/c and ceiling fan on and bedroom door shut. It was soooooo comfortable!! Note: the A/C cooled the entire apartment just fine so sleeping in the living room isn't necessary at all. The place offers so much more than we used it for, what a great place. Thank you Cindy for having such a great place and for being so nice to work with.

Weekend trip to Bay City
The apartment was a great perfect size for two people. It was helpful to have a kitchen with silverware and dishes so we could prepare breakfast and lunch. It was an easy drive to different places: 10-15 minutes from down town and about the same time to the state park. The owners were friendly when we ran into them on the way in.

Great location I’d you want to things in. Ay City and surrounding towns!!! We were able to take a boat tour on the Saginaw river, do a walking tour of historic homes in downtown Bay City, go to the Casino in Standish, kayak the Rifle river in Omer, experience Northwoods outlet in Pinconning, tour the Dow home and gardens in Midland! Good times! Cindy’s place was clean, spacious, quiet and private!!!

To begin with communicating with Cindy prior to our stay was excellent. She was quick to reply to my questions and very amenable to my request for assistance. Cindy contacted me when we hadn't checked in by early evening on the first night of our stay to make sure we were ok and everything was going alright for us, which was a nice gesture. There was a nice welcome note for us, including a "don't hesitate to contact me" if we were unsure about anything, which is always nice to see. The apartment within Cindy's house was clean, spacious and as described in the listing. We met Cindy during our stay and she was very friendly and again helpful when we asked for recommendations on local restaurants. I am a light sleeper, but the the house is in a quiet location in Essexville, just outside Bay City, and in conjunction with a great bed, I slept very well. So, overall, a great stay; thank you Cindy.

Cindy has beautifully renovated this gorgeous SPACIOUS 2nd floor! It’s like walking into your OWN home! Has EVERYTHING you need, and more!! Kitchen updated with ALL new appliances, EVERY kitchen amenity included! Loved watching tv on the new leather futon in front of the fire with a glass of wine. If I could give her 6-stars, I would. The bedroom... where do I start? Huge king size bed, new blankets, comforter, plenty of pillows! and memory foam! Best sleep ever. Waking up to the fall trees turning yellows and reds was the icing on the cake! Bathroom is completely renovated as well. The towels were thick and soft. Makes a huge difference when staying at a VRBO! This “apartment” (it’s the size, if not larger than an apartment!) was so spacious, homey, and comfortable. So much thought was put into making it feel like a 5-star house, down to the ready-set table set for two and the impeccably CLEAN living quarters, from wall to ceiling! Not one spec of dirt, cobweb, or smudge on this 140 year old farm house. Do NOT hesitate to book this! I almost want to keep this place as a secret, as I really fell in love with her home. Local things to do: 4/5 miles from the heart of downtown Bay City. The City Market: spent 2 hours, tasting, sipping wine samples, and buying local! Got a $10 off $10 order of cookies at Heidis, BOGO 100% natural coffee syrups (sugar free! The owners were so awesome to talk to!) Free wine tasting. BOGO pizza at Brooklyn Boys. Went to the casino 40 minutes away both night. It’s in the middle of a corn field, literally! Had tremendous luck and walked away $3700 richer!! (Just the cherry on the top of mine and my husband’s surprise weekend away!) On Cindy’s suggestion, lunch and drinks at Old City Hall. Calamari and lettuce wraps ON POINT! Beautiful dimly lit decor. Felt like we were in New York. Spent 2 hours!! at the Amtique Mall. And Beatles and. Beans...you HAVE to see it to believe it. After Cindy’s home, I won’t go anywhere else. Your very own personal apartment for HALF of what a one room stuffy hotel would cost. Met Cindy and had a great chat with her. She really takes pride in keeping her home architecturally sound, updating the amenities while leaving the cozy old house feel! Even got to briefly meet her 2 beautiful boxers. (Sorry for us coming in so late and disturbing them!! We were having too much fun at the casino!)
