The location is great. Right by the sea with an awesome view. The resort needs a revitalization. Things were run down and broken. The photos online were done well to make it look more maintained. Our room was large and comfortable. We only used housekeeping once and she did a good job. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly & helpful and the Caribbean Night was fun. They had tennis rackets, snorkle gears and kayaks which was great. The front desk staff were not very helpful and seemed disinterested anytime we went in there. We had issues with check-in as it was after office hours the guard wasn't at the gate where our room key was left (he was helping another guest). We waited 20 mins, then the key didn't work so had to wait 30 mins for a replacement. The next day the front desk said that's why they recommended guests arrive during office hours? We had issues with the room's sliding door it didn't lock and had a stick to keep it "locked" but it was too short so opened a couple of inches. The safe didn't work, we asks mutiple times about it but the front desk punted it and nothing was fixed. The electricity kept tripping in the room. The walls were thin and you can hear your neigbors. The Kitchenette was barely stocked with enough gears to use. It was a good location and we treated it as a base. If you think of it being a motel more than resort with minimal help from the front desk. Lower expectations it will be a pleasant stay.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,007 reviews)
We had our wedding here. Very happy with that process and the staff’s assistance. Every staff member we dealt with was great. Dinner at the resort seemed expensive. Food was ok. Again, staff were great. We stayed in two different rooms. They were large and comfortable. Cleanliness was ‘ok.’ Not great. AC in one room super cold, the other, not so much. The beaches were fantastic. Property overall was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
