We were disappointed with this property. The photographs make it appear much nicer than it is - it would be a great place if updated. Rooms also are too far away from pool and main area.

Crystal the front desk lady was so nice and friendly! The fire dancers and jumbies were excellent. Other than that just slept in room and left the resort every day. We went to bar twice and service was awful, waited for atleast hour for a club sandwich and finally cancelled order not Island time just slow. Rooms were fine but not clean, sand on chairs outside and food on balcony, rooms were fine though. Pool was nice, bathrooms at pool were awful needed some updates.

We have stayed at this resort for many years. The hurricane damage from Maria and then the pandemic have really hurt this facility. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and well cared for. Rooms appear to being updated for wear-and-tear/weather damage. The restaurant service is definitely on "island time" - be prepared to wait.

We were here for 5 days in February and we had a wonderful stay. Our room, the resort restaurant and pool area exceeded our expectations, clean, comfortable and very relaxing. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The shoreline along the resort was absolutely stunning with its trees, plants, flowers and sandy beach. We will definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful. As with any older oceanside resort you will notice wear and tear from the salt water and general seaside conditions. Our room was clean but did show signs of wear (nothing we have not experienced at other older oceanfront properties) The balcony off of room #39 was phenomenal and the room accommodations were perfect. The staff at the resort were very friendly and accommodating, always available for help with questions. I HIGHLY recommend checking out the Caribbean night on Wednesday nights, the fire dancers and Moko Jumbi stilt walkers were so much fun! The main issue we experienced was that on the island (not just this property) it is quite common for restaurants to be out of ingredients. When dining at the Palms all of the food we did have was good, but each time we went they were out of at least 3-4 main dishes and appetizers on the menu.
