Bless the photographer who took pictures of the rooms, made them look so much bigger than the bedroom size they actually are. This is more of a hostel than hotel. The rooms and shared bathrooms are very well maintained and in good working order. The walls are thin and the noise of other guests entering,leaving, and having conversations can clearly be heard while in the room. Quiet hours were well enforced and noise was not an issue overnight. The air-conditioning was slightly less than adequate but the room stayed a tolerable (slightly warm) temp. I would definitely stay again if budget was an issue.

Been here a few times and every time the room is neat, clean, comfortable, and pleasantly simple. The bathrooms stay clean and there has never been an issue with sharing. Hosts are pleasantly available and invisible at the same time, like a good wait staff. My go to in Eugene for sure.

So many things provided that I didn’t expect. Coin operated laundry, huge TVs, free streaming TV shows and movies, and in the common area, an arcade game, a computer, heck, I am probably missing stuff. The bed was huge and comfortable. I was a little worried about sharing a bathroom with 5 rooms, but it was never a problem. On my floor, there were two bathrooms and three showers. There was only one occasion when someone was using a bathroom when I needed to, and so I simply used the other one. The room was clean, and had a panoramic view of 11th street. It was within walking distance of the University of Oregon *and* downtown Eugene. The staff is friendly and nice. I highly recommend Counting Zack for your next trip to Eugene.

Nice comfortable room with very comfy bed. Great location for walking. Close to many restaurants. Nice shared kitchen and bathrooms. Great price. Only inconvenience is parking if you have a car though there is a paid lot right across the street
