"Pleasantly surprised with this hotel! For the price I was looking for a basic clean and comfortable place to sleep for the night and that’s exactly what we got! Outside was well lit at night when we returned from our event. And there was a complimentary grab and go breakfast in the morning. Just to mention, a few amenity details, b/c I like to know this when planning what to pack: there is a small regular coffee maker (not a keurig), hair dryer, nice sized mini fridge, microwave, and iron in the room. "

Sent lots of very informative information before our trip, a map how to get there with a bridge out And let us check in early! Even though they had 10” of rain and the fishing wasn’t very good while we were there, we still had a very relaxing weekend."

"Alvin was a great host, we ran late getting there, Alvin called to check on us. Helped with detailed instructions. Actually waited up on us past his bedtime. He was there each time we came off the lake, shared stories. He treats you in a manner that makes you relaxed and feel welcome. His location is away from traffic, yet close to docks and restaurants. Definitely consider for the peace and quiet, much preferred over hotel room. Great stay."
